I am going to change the name of my blog

Lately its just a bunch of funny stories about Pookie. I should change it to “Pookie’s Laugh Factory” or “Everybody Loves Pookie”.

Well, we might as well get it over with. Here is today’s story:

6:45 pm. Dinner is over. We are cleaning up the house before bed. The kids are “helping.” Perfect time for Pookie to politely ask to go out side and play, since we are suckers for polite asking. So, off Pookie and Geetle run to the back yard. As BAGD I bustle around the house cleaning up, he glances out the window and bursts out laughing.

There, in the geographic middle of our back yard, stands Pookie. Pants around his ankles (and his blue rain boots). Peeing indiscriminately on the grass. Not a tree. Not a bush. Not even a fire hydrant. Nope, just lettin’ it fly. He finishes and then bends over at the waist to closely inspect what he assumes must be a big yellow puddle in the grass. After a few seconds of study, he puts himself back together and runs over to climb the slide.

At least it was just pee. You all remember Uncle Jerry’s new house? After that incident we had one random evergreen pee, but nothing since. So we were very surprised at today’s development. Lets hope this is the only one for a while.

What is it with guys and peeing outside? It’s not just the little folks either. “Hey honey, I know that we have a perfectly nice bathroom with a perfectly fine toilet, but I’m gonna mosey on outside so I can pee off the deck.”

Yup, he’s definatley an average boy!
I came outside last spring to see my twin brothers (age 7 at the time) peeing on the sidewalk in front of the house.
      Ugh, boys!! lol

It good to know that he’s a typical 5 year old boy that doesn’t want to take the time to come in just to pee. Especially when it’s so easy to do outside. Been there, done that. Well, not without the bush cover:) I miss you guys. I’ll be home soon. Love dad
