Here is our unsolicited picks for some really great products…things we are loving right now:
These are all on Giggles’ top reading list. Seriously, she will not even keep these books on her bookshelf. She keeps them in a drawer by her bed. We have to read “Dear Zoo” first, then “Hand Hand Fingers Thumb”, then “Peek a boo” and finally “Duck in the Truck.” She is adament about the order.
Pookie and Geetle are loving their Leapsters right now. We were worried that these would be a bad influence on Pookie, since he becomes obsessed with noisy toys. But, he has done very well. He is very mature about it. Sometimes he does the games wrong, to hear the funny “WRONG!” noises, but then he plays it right. He has picked up some echolalia scripts from the games, but honestly, he picks that up everywhere. They both seem to be learning a bit too. Pookie really likes the SpongeBob cartridge and has a concept of coins thanks to one game. Geetle likes SpongeBob too, but also the animal adventure game she got for her birthday.
Its silly, but I am loving my pinking shears and my ragging scissors. When you need a specialty scissor, you need a specialty scissor.
BAGD is loving his Hamilton Beach Stay or Go Coffee Maker, with built in travel mugs.
And of course, his Ipod Touch.
And, call him strange (and you will) but he is totally grooving on his weedpuller. He’s out there every night, waging ware on the dandelions with his trusty hand tool. You might think he is organic. No, he just likes to see the weeds die.
