We went to Wisconsin Saturday, to see Grandma and the rest of our Cheesehead peeps. Now that the weather is nice, we spend a lot of time outside when we visit. That’s alot of fun for the kids. There are alot of nooks and crannies and places to run and play at Papa’s and Uncle JoeJoe’s. Plus, if any of those places are too far away, Papa will drive you there in his Gator. So that kind of rocks.
One of Papa’s Scotch Highlands just had twin calves, so we had to check them out. They are not named yet, so Geetle is pushing for Maya and Miguel (from PBS Kids).
Papa has some interesting cows. Besides these Scotch Highlands, he also has some Watusi. I always forget to take a picture of them, mostly because my Dad laughs at all the cars that stop in front of his house to take their pictures. They look alot like the Texas Longhorns, but with even bigger horns.
He laughs at the people who take their picture, but he secretly thinks its pretty cool. I know he does.
The kids also played with Freddie and Tunney and swung on the treeswing. I gave haircuts to the Uncle JoeJoe, Uncle Bill and Uncle Chuckie. We ate ice cream, brownies and Sloppy Joes. Uncle JoeJoe “supervised” Giggles during dinner and somehow she came out relatively clean, except for a ponytail the color of chocolate ice cream.
The day went pretty fast.
***editor’s note****I had misidentified the animal above, so Papa has asked me to correct it. He was worried by THOUSANDS of readers would be misinformed. Since he referenced my THOUSANDS of readers, I think he might have been joking, but I changed it just in case. I am sure he/she will understand.

Those are Scotch Highlands not Texas Longhorns. according to the zookeeper, Papa. He wants you to correct the blog because people might think cheeseheads do not know what kind of animals s they have. He is sure thousands might read and think he is uninformed. We lioved reading and seeing that you had a great day n WI. Love MOM than ks for the picture. I will be framing it soon.
