walls. Your walls.
I am not one for things hanging on the wall. I never like framed pictures enough to pay for them. I am no good at making vignettes of sconces and doodads. So, my solution is to paint my walls a bright color and maybe hang one or two big statement pieces. That’s it. Then I call it done.
We redid our little bathroom recently and I choose a Tiffany Blue color for the walls. Everything else is white. I considered leaving the area above the toilet bare, but it did look like it needed something. I found these awesome wall decals on Etsy and bought a giant dandelion with seeds that float away with the breeze. Sort of ironic if you know about BAGD and his eternal struggle with our weed problem, which was mostly caused by Pookie’s burning need to blow out white dandelions.
I bought this from Lewa’s Designs and it was very easy to put up. I shortened the length of the stem, but at full height I think it was like 7 feet. I like the drama of it. She even included a freebee, which I hung over the only thing hanging on my living room wall:
It seems that there is an endless variety of designs and that they could go in any room or decor. I might try another one someday. I like the contrast against my bright wall.
