Contest for Young Bubblewrap Inventors

Thanks to Kim, who emailed me about this interesting event.  I had posted a note about how much my 4 year olds love to pop Bubblewrap.  Turns out, not only do all kids love Bubblewrap, the makers of Bubblewrap sponsor a contest to encourage creative uses of the  product, all designed by young inventors.  Check this link out.    Of last year’s finalists, I would have given the prize to Alex Charcraft, inventor of the “Easy Check Chore Chart.”  Although, I also like the idea presented by Devin Kilbarger, the “Bubblewrap Seed Incubator.”

The contest runs thru 11/1 and has a $10k savings bond as a prize.   Maybe your young inventor could win.  My kids are still a bit young, they would keep popping the research materials and never actually make anything.   At this point,  Pookie and Geetle’s only invention using Bubblewrap would be an “Automatic Giggle Maker.”
