Geetle got invited to a birthday party at LEGOLAND! She is pretty excited. She must have known (or hoped) that the invitation was coming. She had just asked me the other day if she could have her birthday party there, so maybe there was gossip at school about this kid’s party. When she had asked me, I had told her that maybe we could go, but that it would be too expensive to take all her friends too. She said that was fine, because she, Pookie and I could ride the Dragon Rollercoaster and BAGD could stay with Giggles, since he already rode it once. Then we could have our picture taken with LEGO Barack Obama.
I wonder if she will still be excited when she figures out that its a drop-off party. No parents. That is a new 1st grade thing we are not used to yet. Last year, I think that would have made her nervous, but I think she will be OK this year. We will see on 10-18.
