Proud of my Geetle

I really WISH that I had taken a picture. I might make them re enact the event just so I can take their picture. They were that cute.

Thursday was Twin Day at Geetle and Pookie’s school. Remember that one from last year? Well, last year Pookie and Geetle were in different schools, so Geetle dressed like her friend CB. This year (as early as Christmas 2011) she told me she and Pookie were going to dress alike on Twin Day. Pookie happened to get 2 of the same T-shirt for Xmas due to a shipping error. Its one of his favorite shirts and he wears it (or the other it!) all the time. Over a week in advance, Geetle started prepping, telling me it was important that BOTH the shirts were clean on Twin Day and hiding them as they came out of the laundry.

On the morning of Twin Day, she laid one of the shirts out for Pookie and told him which shorts to wear so that they looked very matchy-matchy. And off they to school they went. The boy with Autism and his sister, who wanted nothing more than for the whole school to know that he was her other half on Twin Day.

You don’t get much better than that.
