I am different from the rest of my family in one very important way. BAGD, Geetle and Pookie can all make the Taco Tongue, but I can’t. BAGD’s mom, Mamaw can do it too. This is an interesting study in genetics, since Pookie and Geetle have no DNA from BAGD or his Mom. We used a sperm donor to conceive. So, if this skill is genetic, then it must come from the frozen pop, the DNA Daddy, as we call him.

I wonder what the prevalence of this skill is in society. Can most people do it? Am I the only one who can’t? Is it genetic? There are only 4 members of this club for Taco Tongue folders. Does that mean my kids and husband are truly unique? Should I be looking for an agent and booking tour dates? When you google “Taco Tongue” most of the entries that come up are actually for Tongue Tacos, which I am sure is a whole other thing.

One thing that cannot be blamed on the DNA Daddy is the cruel way in which my husband and children mock me with this skill. They will even try to grab my tongue and fold it for me.

I assume that Taco Supreme will learn this skill too, but not for a while after she is born. So, at least I will have her on my side for a while. If she never learns to do the Taco Tongue, she can help me manage the circus careers of these other weirdos.
