A few things I have planned

Since I am giving you links to so many awesome sewing tutorials, let me show you a few that I am going to do next.

1. Double Sided Splat Mat- I just need to find some laminated cotton.

2. Diaper and Wipes Case: Giggles picked out some dog fabric for this one already.

3. Memory Game of Numbers

4. Happy Birthday Banner

5. Baby Grab Ball

6. Best Bunnies

7. Tooth Fairy Pillow

8. Roll Up Crochet Hook Caddy - since I know Aunt Bean does not check my blog during the Summer, I can link to this. I am thinking of trying this one as a Christmas gift for her. But it involves piping, which means it might not go well. So, maybe no gift. We will see.

9. Black Apple Doll

10. Denim Organizer

11. Shirt Pocket Quilt

12. ABC Pillow

13. Zippered Wristlet

14. Shopping Bag makeover

If I could find it, I would link to something my MOM made for the kids. Its a polar fleece blanket, pillow and bag set. The bag is attached to the bottom of the blanket so that when its time to clean up, you just fold (or stuff) the blanket and pillow right into the bag. I think she got it from a flier at the craft store. They are cute. I have one in my washing machine right now, other wise I would take a picture of it for you. If anyone has that link, please share it.

In fact, would anyone else like to contribute a link or two to some great craft tutorials? Christmas is coming and its time to start crafting.

I enjoyed clicking on all your ideas. I am making a doll right now that is a lot like the Black Apple Doll. I got the pattern from BitofWhimsyPrims on Etsy. Love MOM

I don’t know any tutorials, but I enjoy needlepoint and think that it makes a good gift for a new baby, housewarming party, etc, after it’s framed. And I am thinking of buying one of those knitters like you had for making hats and such, now that school is starting back, I’ll want something relaxing to do.

Oooh, I found something! I was looking at one of my mom’s magazines the other day, and I found this: http://www.lhj.com/lhj/story.jhtml?storyid=/templatedata/lhj/story/data/1214513699276.xml
It looks like they used premade pillow covers, but I think I will just make some, since it’s not all that hard. I think I’m going to make some black pillows with white appliqués to match my bedspread.
