Fun Frozen Foods

Today we have a guest post by Liz Liadis. Liz and her daughter discovered some fun in the frozen food aisle at the grocery store. Beagoodmom proudly supports fun, so I am pleased to present Liz’s review of some new food products for kids.

Fun Frozen Foods

We discovered a cool frozen food, Ore Ida’s ABC Tater Tots. Excellent food for anyone, but these tasty snacks are great learning tools for toddlers and preschoolers learning their alphabet. I kidded with our daughter when we picked them up that the tater tots were for “tots” like her. I spelled out her name on her plate, and during lunch, on her own accord, she would let me know which letter she was about to eat. Also, this is much less messy than alphabet soup and really easy to form any word with. Another fun fry to try is McCain Smiles, the cutest happy faces you will ever eat. Plus they donate proceeds from sales to the Y-Me National Breast Cancer Organization. And, if you are a family on a budget, looking for the breast cancer symbol on food or other items sometimes is the only way you can afford to help the cause, since the rest of your money is going to diapers, food, etc.

Another frozen food to try is Eggo’s Minis. 4 mini eggo waffles = 1 regular sized waffle. It will save us money since our two year old daughter rarely eats an entire waffle since she stops eating after about half then starts begging for her fruit dessert. She actually picked them out. It was good product placement because it was on the very bottom row where she could grab them.

I’m a stay-at-home mom of a two year old, who is the messiest eater on the face of the planet, and I once was a very neat and organized graphic artist. I went to school at Indiana University of PA and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art with a Major in Graphic Design and a Minor in Drawing.
