Let’s See…what’s new?

Giggles likes Fun Dip. Thanks for the opportunity to learn that, Uncle JB.

We had an awesome time at Baby Belaina’s birthday party. The party was at a Forest-Preserve type of park and there was lots of room to run around. They even had an old fashioned water pump, which the kids loved. Geetle played alot of different games with Tman and the other kids. Giggles ran from point to point laughing hysterically. Pookie had a good time, but did not like the water balloon fight. My favorite part of the day was when he came up to me and said “Hey you. Want to play baseball?” How could I say No to that?! So he and I played baseball his way. I lob the ball to him, underhand. He faces me, holding the bat straight out in front of him, hitting the ball upward. Using this technique, he is surprisingly accurate. If he missed, he would throw the ball back to me for another try. It was a real game! He was playing a real game! With me! I was so happy. We played for 20 minutes until he ran off for a water break.

Geetle got her new Nintendo DS! She is pretty excited. She wanted to take Belaina’s picture and show Papa how it worked at the party.

We thought Pookie got lost in the woods at the party. At least for a few minutes we thought that. He wanted to play “We’re Going on A Bear Hunt!” and was waiting for me to go with him on the Trail. He was near the shelter, then gone. They always say check the most dangerous place first, so I went right into the wood to look for him. Turns out he was in the bathroom right by the shelter. No harm done.

Our new playground is done!

GIggles, Geetle, Pookie and I slept in our clothes last night, so that we could sneak out as soon as Pookie woke up this morning. That boy can’t be quiet in the morning. Just can’t. And we wanted BAGD to sleep in for Father’s Day, so as soon as he woke up (5:55am) I shot out of bed, woke up the girls and we all 4 dashed out the front door. We had breakfast at McDonalds, went shopping at Meijer, vacuumed the car at the carwash and played at the park until 9am, when we thought it was time for BAGD to wake up and celebrate Father’s Day with us. He said it was a good present. But it was not my best fashion day.

BAGD is awesome. By the way. Happy Father’s Day to him!

Mamaw and Papaw came over today. Papaw and BAGD (in their coincidental matching shirts) hung our new TV and fixed my broken lamp. We also did some bike-riding, cookie-baking and general playing.

Giggles joined a gang. They raise a lot of hell…but are home and in bed by 7:30.

I think that’s it. What’s new with you?

We’re celebrating fathers and uncles day on Wednesday because that is when we can all get together. We think we have a great gift for Papa and Uncle Joe Joe. We loved the bd party at the park also. Well planned and executed…but I did not know about the hunt for Pookie. Grandmas don’t appreciate things like that. You are right about BAGD being awsome…that he is. Love MOM

What’s new? I used to know this guy that lost an arm in a motorcycle accident. He was a drummer for Bon Jovi. He quit the band because he wasn’t challenged anymore. Something to do with every single song being the same. He went on to have a great career with a band named Def Leppard. That’s what’s new. And, those are two handsome dude’s in tie-dies. Love ya, Papaw
